History of Online Poker
The Poker is in a class of card games called "competitive game" in which players compete to win the prize by doing "bluff" (deception or bluffing) that is, achieving a good combination of letters, which may or may not be disclosed to opponents during the game. That detail in the Rules of Poker has not changed, so that played in online casinos. Throughout history, Poker and many other games were categorized in the above description, and so determined its relative proximity to other card games.
Even today, the history of Poker remains a puzzle. There are scholars who believe that the name comes from the French 'poque', which in turn derives from the German "pochen", meaning "beat, overcome. However, nobody can be sure if the game evolved from the 'poque "or other card games.
One myth says that a Chinese emperor Mu-Tsung created called parallel play Poker in 970 AD, said to have been played with dominoes. A different hypothesis speaks of another played by the Egyptians in the twelfth and thirteenth centuries, with hands ranking systems similar to those used in Poker.
In addition, the game has similarities with a Persian game called "as nas". That game was played with 25 cards and five different cards, and had a classification of hand very similar to modern poker. Their roots are attributed to a Renaissance game called "first" with French "brelan.
There is a theory which states that "as nas" with Persian sailors migrated to New Orleans where the French colonists learned the game. As you can see, poker history leaves many clues for historians to study their origins.
English actor Joseph Crowell described the game as played in New Orleans in 1829 played with a deck of twenty cards, 4 players bet on which hand of cards was the most valuable.
Shortly after this expansion, we used the complete English deck of 52 cards and introduced the play "color" (having 5 cards not of the same suit, e.g. five clubs). During the U.S. Civil War, many additions were made, including discard poker, poker and poker discovered sequence.
In the thirties, 7 card studs was the most popular form of poker, even more popular than the draw poker. Again, the U.S. soldiers of World War II they loved to play 7 card stud. Modern tournament play became popular in American casinos after the start of the World Series of Poker in 1970. It was also during the seventies when the first serious strategy books, including Theory of Poker by David Sklansky, or Super System by Doyle Brunson. The television broadcasts of tournament poker have been added popularity.
